CBSsports With NFL free agency beginning to slow down it is time to start analyzing the offensive players in new places. Dave Richard breaks down some very relevant fantasy football players that will or could make an immediate impact on your fantasy football draft day.
ESPN Browns RB Peyton Hillis contemplating retirement?
ESPN according to a recent report by ESPN the Browns will not use the franchise tag for running-back Peyton Hillis.
Also the reports says that Hillis had told the Browns coaching staff at the end of the 2011 season he was contemplating retirement.
Was is the key word as the same source has stated Hillis is now going to continue his career but will it be with the Browns?
As the Browns make a run to trade for the 2nd overall pick from the St Louis Rams and acquire Baylor quarterback RG3 in the 2012 NFL Draft it will be interesting to see if Hillis continues to be in the Browns future.

Browns RB Peyton Hillis proves again that he can break big runs when necessary.
NFL Pre-Season Week 1 Greenbay vs Clevland
As impressive as Packers QB Aaron Rodgers was passing the ball like the Super Bowl was yesterday rather than 6 months ago. His opponent Browns QB Colt McCoy matched him pass for pass.
McCoy hit a 27 yard laser to WR Josh Cribbs with a flick of his wrist. He looked poised, he looked ready, and he looked confident. I strongly feel this boost McCoy’s fantasy draft status among QB’s.
Another Browns player and Madden NFL 12 cover vote finalist RB Peyton Hillis ran a 3 yard TD. Hillis may have much more attempts if McCoy can continue playing well.
Just a note on some Packers who ended their season early last year due to injury. RB Ryan Grant had 3 attempts for 13 yards and catching a pass for 5 yards. TE noticeably not involved was TE Jemichael Finley who not listed as injured?

The Morning Journal Cleveland running back Peyton Hillis is not off the radar anymore and knows it. However Hillis also knows that staying humble and being ready for the NFL lock out to end is all he can do to achieve another impressive season.
“I don’t believe in curses,” said Hillis, who was in Manhattan recently.
“I could get hurt next year, but I don’t believe it has anything to do with the curse,” he added. “I’m a Christian man and I don’t believe anything could be put in front of me that God can’t take away. I would love to prove everyone wrong and have an exceptional year and not get hurt.”
