Rams will trade 2nd overall pick and the Redskins are calling
WashingtonPost Yes the St Louis Rams are willing to make a deal for the 2nd overall pick in the NFL draft. Why shouldn’t they? The Rams believe that quarterback Sam Bradford is what they drafted two years ago a franchise player.
However the Rams still have a heavy price tag for that 2nd overall pick which is most likely going to be Baylor quarterback Robert Griffin III.
RG3 lit up scouts, fans in attendance, and especially media during his impressive 40 yard dash.
So what will RG3 cost the Redskins and will the Cleveland Browns drive up that cost? Also will Peyton Manning’s free agency drive some teams to select a capable veteran over an unproven rookie? Not to mention Manning will cost you’re team less in future prospects.
Some very interesting situations could arise before NFL free agency begins and the NFL draft.
RGIII will be featured on the cover of EASPORTS NCAA Football 13

SI.com While I am going through the morinings news and notes from diferent media outlets some short and sweet others with way to many details I found a GREAT READ!
I am not surprised by the source either since Sports Illustrated writer Don Banks has covered the NFL since the late 90’s and is a great writer.
Banks found some interesting stories lines so far at the NFL Combine.
“Only 14 TE’s invited to #NFL Combine & after watching field drills today, not sure but 7 of them are draftable. Very weak group overall.”
continued in another tweet-“14 TE’s at Combine: averaged 34 recs last year & only 2 had more than 50. I now know why, most have iron skillets for hands. Too many drops!”
