ESPN Christopher Harris tells us why Chad Ochocinco won't be worthy of a fantasy roster spot much less a NFL roster.

ESPN: I am not going to hide my belief that Chad Ochocinco would rebound with Tom Brady and the New England Patriots last season.

Wow I was that an awful analysis but who could blame me.

It seemed like the Patriots had a secret formula of turning broken down athletes into their past selves. I thought Ochocinco would be a natural for a return to fantasy dominance. However that was all hope and no substance.

What Chad Ochocinco made me do was reevaluate how I asses fantasy football talent and he wasn’t the only one either.

Now this is also why I haven’t released my fantasy football cheat sheet for the 2012 season. I made some decisions on a hunch in a rush to release them instead of coming to an objective conclusion on players like Ochocinco.

Christopher Harris sums up why we shouldn’t expect things to change this season for Ochocinco.

Will Chad Ochocinco produce in the Patriots offense or is he done?

NFL Pre-Season Week 2 New England vs Tampa Bay

COLD: What a difference a week makes?  Last week Josh Freeman looked like Tom Brady passing the ball in tight corners and picking apart the Kansas City defense.

However this week Freeman looked overwhelmed not being able to find open receivers, disruptions from penalties, and sloppy play.

Also the Tampa Bay defense was down right freezing allowing the Patriots first team offense to rush the ball easily.  The Patriots found the endzone easily gaining a 21 all advantage in just the first quarter.

HOT: While Tom Brady looked like…well like Tom Brady.

Brady was impressive staying in the pocket and delivering passes to open and not so open receivers yet creating plays.

Brady was able to make his entire offense involved hitting TE Aaron Hernandez with the opening TD then later a lob to TD pass to WR Chad Ochcinco.

SLEEPER: Rookie Stevan Ridley continues to share a large amount of carries and is proving to be a lock for the Patriots roster.  If not a future 2nd back option.

Jamie Dukes explains why Chad Ochocinco is not right for the Patriots

NFL Total Access Jamie Dukes thinks Chad Ochocinco who was traded to the Patriots will find it difficult to play under the Patriots media rules.

ESPN Patriots trade for

WR Chad Ochocinco!

The New England Patriots are having a huge day and it just got better they have traded for WR Chad Ochocinco.

Bill Bellichick and Chad have had a solid relationship for years since Chad was a student athlete at Oregon State.  They have a trust factor and that is an important component for any football player and coach relationship.

The fantasy football outlook for Chad should improve greatly since he will not have to share the field with another great receiver but rather a team of receivers.

Tom Bradys stock will also rise since Brady will have the prime target he has missed since Randy Moss‘es departure.
