If you listened to Berry last week you probably won if you listened to me you probably lost.

ESPN.com In the fantasy football industry there are several reporters that I have immense respect for but some are just complete self serving morons!

Last week I was called out for my shot at the Talented Mr.Rotto’s aka Matthew Berry who writes “Love Hate” for choosing Patriots running-back Stevan Ridley as a week four starter.

While I am sure Berry was confident with his selection of Ridley but not even he could’ve seen the collapse of the Buffalo Bills defense against the run.

Ridley rushed for over a hundred yards and had two touchdowns while fellow running-backs Brandon Bolden gained even more yardage and a touchdown as well as veteran Danny Woodhead receiving a touchdown.

The overall performance by Ridley was impressive however he was out performed by his fellow running-back Brandon Bolden whose power rushing style is similar to former Patriots running-back BenJarvus Green-Ellis.

Regardless Berry was right and was way wrong for saying that his pick was a crapshoot.

While I thought Berry was over estimating the matchup based on the very obvious decline in Ridley’s production his “love” for Ridley paid off with a huge fantasy day and me wiping egg off my face for my rant.

However one of my readers confused my contempt for Berry’s selection as “mouthing off” while all I try to do here is offer a counter point to an argument. In all honesty I very much respect Matthew Berry as a fantasy analyst and a very talented writer.

This past week I was blocked on twitter by a not so talented fantasy analyst who in my opinion avoids making tough calls. While this person is the first representative in fantasy fooball on the NFL Network he is the last person I prefer to link fantasy football opinion. His tan resembles something from the cast of the Jersey Shore and his fantasy football risk is as risky as crossing a country road without any visible traffic.

When the most difficult starting lineup decisions that you are weighing are starting between quarterbacks RG3 and Andrew Luck then I think it’s safe to say you’re not risking much.

I think in Berry’s case I have always had a love hate relationship (sorry no pun intended) but Berry is just as his name say’s he is “Talented” but sometimes he just goes way off the radar.

While all his picks were not solid in week four Berry will take a risk! That is why I link his column and not that silly little analyst from NFL network with the orange tan who’s Dallas Cowboys received a major ass kicking by my Chicago Bears! Did I mention he is kind of touchy about those Cowboys.

Great Pick Last Week Berry! Great Pick!
