First let me tell you this. The first ever fantasy league known to me was a rotisserie baseball league their story was featured on ESPN’s 30 for 30 called “Silly Little Game”and one of their first members was a women. Now she was convinced like you that her guy friends were only inviting her because she would give them enough players to play but in all honesty they felt she had the knowledge to compete.
If you are a fan of the NFL, know the teams, know the players, and want to take that fandom to the next level then naturally fantasy football is the next step.
However without any gender bias the game of fantasy football is becoming a lazy man’s game. People walk into draft day with a smart phone and load up an app that helps them pick their team. They don’t have to read an experts thought on who is the best available running-back in late rounds, should they take a QB in the first round of the draft, and they always blame everyone else when they lose.
Don’t be that person! Fantasy football addicts hate that person! There’s a big difference between being unconfident and unknowledgeable. All you need is confidence because you already know the players in the game you just need to understand the rules.
