The Informers Top Ten Fantasy Football 2012 Draft Prospects: No. 9 WR Rueben Randle LSU 6’2” 210lbs and 4.54

Youtube: Welcome again to my top ten selections for this years NFL Draft class that will provide your fantasy football team with an immediate impact on fantasy football draft day.  These selections reflect the value of players in fantasy football and not necessarily the world of NFL football.

With my 9th overall selection is wide-receiver LSU Rueben Randle who has all the tools to be a great middle of the field catch and run NFL receiver.  Randle can break tackles after the catch making him an excellent X receiver.

While his play against Alabama brought more questions then answers poor quarterbacking also contributed  to his overall performance.

Randle sinks on my board due to questions about his physical ability.

ProFootballWeekly 2012 NFL Draft Preview Nolan Nawrocki, “His (Randle) 31-inch vertical leap and 20 yard short shuttle time (4.36) were among the worst by WRs at the combine.”

While Nawrocki projects Randle as 4th overall in this years receiving class I just do not see this kid stretching the field and breaking for long yardage in the NFL.

Is Randle talented? Yes! However the tier of play he will be expected to produce at will be full of Alabama talent and poor QB or not Randle will have no excuses.

His overall value in September’s fantasy draft is a 4th option at receiver most likely a no higher then a 10th round draft pick.

Here is a link to my 10th overall pick if you missed it.
